Energizer Bunny

The energy is flowing and I can only hope that this is a positive sign from all the recent physical activity in my life. Let's hope this level of energy does not drop....or at least until after the week of non stop madness at Carnival is over.

Yesterday I hit the gym and hoped on a work out machine to do a Hill Climb...it was intense and it was needed! My quads were not pleased with me. After a 25 minute cardio workout I hit the BodyPump class at my gym. I must say this class is less enjoyable without my partner in crime Lisa but it was still a great workout. I could feel my butt altering as I did each weighted squat.

Areas that still need improvement: my shameful strength in push-ups and my knee pain while doing weighted lunges. These are now added to the goals list.

Have you forgot my goals already? Well here is a refresher:
  • Hit the gym 4 times a week (success so far!)
  • Loose 5 pounds in January (lost 3 so far)
  • Loose 5 pounds in February
  • Strengthen my knees (new)
  • Increase push-up endurance (new)
  • Drop a dress size by March 2nd (already dropped one so this is a bonus goal)
