Ok to day's post will be brief because I have a very busy day but I had to make some time to tell everyone about my wokout today, especially my successes!
I had a fitness assessment at my gym before my workout today and while they seem to have lost my old file (#FAIL) I could remember certain stats and I know that since taking on the CarnivalFit challenge I have now lost 3 pounds, this leaves me with 2 more pounds to loose to hit my January goal and then to tackle another 5 pounds to loose in February.
Today I spent 30 minutes on the elliptical machine and forced myself to do the entire workout at 2 levels higher than I normally do. It was great burning 60 more calories than I normally do in that 30 minute period. After I hit some strength training and really focused on my legs as the thighs and belly are my focus areas to prep for Carnival.
Normally I do Zumba tomorrow morning but I can't make it to my class so we will see what workout I pick instead!
Stay motivated people, Carnival is less than 2 months away and you don't want to be the only big belly man trying to take a juk by a female as fit as me :D
