It's about time I got back on to this blog. Things got very busy and crazy towards the end of the Holiday break but now I am back on schedule. So far I have been back in my gym only once since my last post and I hit a hot Yoga class as well.
When I went to the gym I went hard and it made up for missed time. I started that workout with about 30 mins on the elliptical and 15 min on the treadmill. Then I hit the weight machines and really punished myself. I did all the manly machines that I tend to avoid because I know that those are the ones that you will still be feeling two days later. It was a great feeling. Not only were my legs tight the next day but just trying to reach my arms out to try on clothes was painful. That's the kind of pain I love to feel! I'm sick I know.
Tonight's Yoga class shocked me. It has been months since I have done hot Yoga and the closest thing I have done to real yoga is the the Body Flow class at my gym. I for sure thought that it would be difficult and painful to get back in but I was pleasantly surprised by my endurance and flexibility. This proves that being in the gym on a regular and maintaining a full body work out has helped me when doing different workouts that. let's be real, are almost foreign because it's been so long.
