It's been a busy few days but I need to post my recent activities to stay on top of things!
So a few days ago I completely revamped my workout routine thanks to my inspirational friend Senait :)
I did a lot of interval training, so ten minutes running on the treadmill, then my beloved crotch machine followed by weighted lunges and squats. I then did a core combo and went on to some leg lifts and made sure to increase my weight levels. I really focused on strength training because lately I have been doing too much cardio. I did some pectoral sets on a weighted machine and went back to the weighted lunges and squats. hit some more crunches followed by varied planks. This was a very intense work out and it was much needed.
The following day I went to a Pilates class, believe me that was brutal to do after all the squats and lunges and I am feeling the pain now. I love post workout pain. It really lets you know that what you are doing is working!!
Now that my body is almost ready for Carnival I really should organize to get my Costume ready :s lol
30 more days until I see Caribbean sun :D
